Re: Unable to run SQR without trusted connection

Sarat - Do you know the technique of running SQR outside of proc scheduler
from a batch file? This is the recommended, but unpublicized way the
PeopleSoft SQR instructors teach.

Subject: Unable to run SQR without trusted connection

Hello,

DB: SQL Server 2K
OS: WINNT
APP: PSoft HRMS 7.51, SQRW

I want to run an SQR using SQRW.exe (outside
PeopleSoft). I tried to use PeopleSoft OPRID and
password but it errored saying "Access denied on
various tables, owner not dbo) even though my access
id is 'sa' for my PSoft Oprid. So I used SQL Server
login a/c windows authentication way.
Every time I try to run an SQR, it gives me
"connection failed" followed by "Use Trusted
Connection?" window. When I check (yes) the box, I can
run the sqr. How and where o I set "Use trusted
connection" always?
Or how can I use my PSoft id to run SQRs?
Thanks,
Sarat.
