In SQR:
1. define 2 variables as a date type
2. put the current date into 1 variable
3. use the DATEADD function to compute the earlier date

begin-setup
   declare-variable
       date $dttm_now $early_dt
   end-declare
end-setup

let $dttm_now = datenow()
let $early_dt = dateadd($dttm_now,'day',-7)

Subject:  Date problem



Hello all,

I have a problem that I hope someone out there can help me with.  I need to
make a program that gets a date in the DD-MON-YYYY format of 7 days prior
from the current date.  ie.  Today's date id 02-MAY-2002, I need to get
25-APR-2002.  Anyone have any idea how this can be done.  Thank you in
advance.
