Conclusion of CSV problem posted to yahoo/peoplesoft-fans group
I would like to correct my statement of yeasterday that this is not
fully working. We had missed applying a step in Resolution 703928
and would now like to report that it does indeed work as stated. CSV
output is occurring without a need for "write" statements,
using "print" statements only.
Note: The header prints once at the top of this file. Once in
Excel, a quick delete of those lines gets rid of the header. If
there is a comma (,) or double quote (") in a field, SQR will
properly quote around it. However we found one case where the SQR
CSV output goes wrong. If there is both a comma and a double quote
in the same field, it will incorrectly divide it into two fields.
Manual repair in Excel is not difficult, but it would be nice to have
Brio fix this. Are there any Brio employees out there to pass this
along to the development group?
Thanks to one and all who helped.
