Re: SQR output for MSWORD

You can use the rtf format for Word output from sqr in the same way you have
provided the sylk output.

Office 2000 will let you use the HTML output as your Word doc.

Hi,

We're using SQR 6.2 and Sybase 12.x.

Most of our reports require the following 4 output formats in one pass of
the data:

PDF
Tab-delimited
Excel (sylk works for us)
Word (since you can't modify or even copy/paste properly from pdf)

I created an ascii file that can be used for Word, but it isn't very user
friendly. You must open Word first, then open the file, change your page
orientation, margins and fonts.

Is there a way in SQR (without using other products) to create a ".doc" file
like I create the ".slk" file for Excel? It seems like I should be able to
just add some header information and change the extension to ".doc".

Thanks for your help.

Debbie
