I am in fact running Win2000 sp 2. I deleted the sqr.exe registry entries
and it now works fine. Must be one of those undocumented features.

Are you running on windows 2000 service pack 2? If you are you
need to do a find in the registry for the sqrw.exe key and delete it.

I know this has to have been addressed in the past, but I couldn't find
this
in the archive. When running SQRW, I am getting the error Cannot open
file
or directory 'c:\temp\SQR.log'. I get the same error when running SQRs
locally from PeopleSoft. I do have a c:\temp directory, and I know it
is
something simple fix.
