Hi Allen

The issue you may be having is that the database link between your STG and
CNV environment may not be setup properly. Can you run the compare on the
client between STG and CNV?  If  you can run on the client then the server
may not have the correct tnsnames configuration.

I am doing the compare and report step of an upgrade. I am upgrading the CNV
instance from the STG instance. It is the step where several sqr's get run
from the TOOLS-UPGRADE-COMPARE AND REPORT menu selection on the server for
the STG instance. The problem is that all the sqr's error out, and in the
log file it says 'unable to log on to database', even though I can run other
sqr's individually out of this instance. Any ideas??
