Re: crystal report hangs in proc scheduler as 'initiated'

We are going to try that next, what about the 'Install ODBC Driver Manager
3.5' checkbox?

Have you re-ran the Install Workstation in Configuration Manager to verify
that the needed DLL's are in place since the OS upgrade? Be sure to check
Install PeopleSoft ODBC Driver.

The Crystal DLL's that should reside in the Winnt\Crystal directory may not
be there since the OS upgrade.

Can these users log into a machine where a user CAN run the query? If it
works then it points to a desktop issue, if not, then it would look like a
security issue.

Where do you check those query access groups? By the way, one thing I forgot
to mention is that the person who cannot run it was recently upgraded to
win2000, although other win2000 users can run this query.

Hello,
Check the query access groups for the user and see if the user can
access the tables referenced in teh crystal report.
Thanks
Prasanna
