Re: sqrerr.dat

Hi,

i am getting this error when i run sqr file in brio report builder with
-printer:pd parameter.
at the end of the run i get ,' brio report viewer warning (sqr 1)error while
opening the message file 'c:\program' (2):no such file or directory'

the default sqr.ini file has already the following lines.
[Environment:Common]
SQRDIR=C:\Program Files\Brio\PersonalSQR\ORA\BINW
this path is where the sqrwv.exe and the sqrerr.dat and the sqrverr.dat files
are located.
thanks,
Subha

Are you getting this error while trying to run an SQR or view the
results in SQRWV?

Thing is, if sqrerr.dat is missing, then SQRW would be having problems
also. The sqrerr.dat file SHOULD be located in your SQRDIR path. If
it is there, then you might try adding a -zif parmaeter to your
command line to load an .ini file with all the parms you need. Part
of that .ini file should include the following two lines:

[Environment:Common]
SQRDIR=C:\BRIO\SQRSERVER\ODB\BINW
