Printing bmp in PDF

Hi,
I ve been trying  to print a BMP(stored in as a file) in my SQR program and
to print in PDF format.I thought everything wud be easy until i found out
that the the image is showing as a square box in the PDF File .This doesnt
happen in case the output is in a SPF format.Also if it is jpg file ,the
output comes correctly in the PDF file.Has anybody come across this
problem.My version of SQR is 6.1.4
