SQR going away in PeopleSoft 8?

I do have some inside PS info but not as much as I used to. As I
understand it PS intends to move everything into App Engine, as you say,
and this includes COBOL. This was PS's direction at the time of the
release of V8 but they may have altered their position as is their frequent
habit. They certainly are not sharing very much information in this area,
only the odd hints.

Can anyone please verify rumors I have heard that PeopleSoft is not
certifying SQR in version 8 and beyond?

Thank you.
