Security documentation

Here at Miami University, we would like to use the SECURITY function in SQR.
This interacts with Brio.Portal so that different users can see different
parts of reports based on the security set in the SQR program.
Unfortunately, the   At least we think that's what it does: the
documentation is remarkably skimpy.

The documentation, or lack thereof, is the reason for this posting.  Has
anyone used the SECURITY function?  Any clues on syntax beyond what is
presented in the Brio.Report Builder manual?  The Brio.Portal 7.0
Administrator's Guide refers to u# and g# tags; are these prefixed to sid's
in the SECURITY function operands?  Can sid's be in some kind of list?  Is
anyone willing to share examples that they have developed?

Sorry this query is so open-ended, but we are just trying to get started.
We will be experimenting with this function, but surely would appreciate any
pointers.
