almost completely non-sqr question.

Hey all,

Kind an infrastructure question here.

PS 8.0
Server OS NT
Client OS W-2000
Database MS Sql Server 7.0

We are trying to install the transact sql on the PCs, so that we can get
information from the database without going through PS. Get an error - that
transact sql wants to be installed on 95, 98 or NT (but not W-2000). While
you'd think that a MS database product would work with all their OS products
this doesn't seem to be the case (go figure).

Any one have any ideas on how to get transact sql installed so it can be
used?

We need to be able to get this working so that we can figure out if the
problem is at the database level (data), PS level (setup/permissions) or sqr
level.
