Mysterious process overriding specified output directory

Hi group,
We have a strange rogue process on a PC that is overriding the specified
output directory for a file created by an SQR we wrote. The program
specifically directs the output file to the directory c:\windows\temp, but
mysteriously something is redirecting that file to the "c:\Winnt" directory
instead. This is a Windows 2000 machine, by the way. Has anyone else ever
seen something like this? We're running this SQR through Peoplesoft's HRMS
7.51 product, and all the Configuration Manager settings are set up as they
should be - including the SQR flags. When we go into regedit, the
directories specified there look as they should. Very strange - if anyone
has any ideas or has ever seen this happening, we'd welcome hearing about
your solution. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Glenn Ackerson
P.S. Since I get messages in digest mode, if you wouldn't mind cc'ing your
message to me directly, it would save me waiting until tomorrow for your
reply. Thanks!
