First, Which record you want to keep?. Is it the max <= asofdate or
the min >= asofdate? You could end up two records returned with
the logic of your select. I would prefer spilitting your select
statement but first you have to test if there are records that is
less than asofdate and for records that is > asofdate. Now what
about records that is = asofdate?
