Pat,

MIS is listed on the Brio site as a Brio Authorized Training
Center. I think this means that they're allowed to do public
courses if they're trained on the technology.  Since they
offered to do an onsite class for you, they should be willing
to schedule you into their next public class if they have any.

If they simply won't do public courses, then you would have to
register for a public course in another town and pay travel
expenses for your two students.
