Yes, I guess something like VB or VC++. I guess I really just need something
with an edit window (where colored key words would be nice, but not
necessary). Then a tab or button that compiles and then displays the output,
with compile errors displayed if possible. Does that help or is that still
too general?

  Bob what exactly are you looking for ... are you looking for an IDE say
like visual basic, if so none exsist that provides the ability to set break
points trace errors in a "run time" environment.  BUT you could use ULTRA
EIDT with the 'wordtext' file with syntax coloring for SQR's to get atleast
some symbalnce of a development environment.

 Itf this is not what you had in mind then give some more detials and we
will do our best.

Hello all,

This may be a very inappropriate question. If so, then I sincerely
apologize.
However, I am in need of a SQR development environment and am looking at a
few right now. The problem is my company will probably not pay for it, so I
will have to pay for it myself. I was hoping to get some good suggestions
from the group.
