Re: Push Buttons [.]

As far as I know, once an SQR that is initiated by PeopleSoft has successfully
completed, all you will get is the .LIS file. The LIS file is the end-result of
the SQR process. I don't believe there is any automatic means of having this
file go to a printer.

If the process is being run on the 'client', the end user needs to look in the
destination directory as specified by the process scheduler parameters and find
the LIS file. Once located, then it can be sent to a printer... again, this is
a manual effort by the end user.

If the process is being run on the 'server', you can work with your server
administrator and maybe he/she can devise a script that will periodically look
for certain LIS files and automatically send them to print. Once they are
printed, be sure to change the name (or delete) the original file.... otherwise
it will be repeatedly sent to the printer :-)

I am using ScheduleProcess and I have defined a process definition which
has the output destination as printer, but I have not been able to get
it to print to a paper report. So far I only get a .LIS file.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Chantelle
