Check to make sure that your connection to the database within RB states
that the local database is "Sybase", not "ODBC". This is the problem 95% of
the time.

Subject: To Nicolas: Problem in running SQR from the Client (Win 95 SQR
6.0)
Hi Nicolas,
I am working in Pacific Exchange and we use Brio report builder to run
some queries against Sybase database on UNIX. Now, the problem is that I
wrote a SQR program and tried running it from client (Win 95) using SQRW but
I got the following error:
(SQR 5528) ODBC SQL dbdesc: SQLNumResultCols error 30041 in cursor 1:
[SYBASE][ODBC Sybase driver]Error on input or output to a file.
but when I ran the same program from Server (UNIX) using SQR it ran
perfectly fine.
Please advice me what might be the problem.
Thanks,
Hans.
