Open Report Writer Position

SQR Report Writer

The Maxim Group, an international consulting firm, is looking to fill a SQR
writer position for a leading Cable Network Television Software company.

Candidates will be expected to:

*       Write SQR code utilizing an underlying relational database.
*       Strong Oracle, SQL knowledge needed.
*       Knowledge of PL/SQL, JAVA, HTML and Pro C helpful.
*       Attend report functional specification meetings.
*       Write new or modify preexisting technical specifications (MS Word).
*       Chair meetings to discuss the developer's technical specification.
*       Provide time estimates on report projects.
*       Be able to perform unit testing on the SQR code.
*       Knowledge of MS SourceSafe helpful.
*       Some knowledge of UNIX helpful.
*       Be able to understand an Oracle entity relationship diagram (ERD).
