Re: question: format an excel file (.xls) inside sqr program



I think that will work except that if you try to do vlookups with another
spreadsheet that does not have the quotes in the cells then the lookups
fail.

I thought I remembered a post in the past that said to place a single quote
before the number to force it to be treated as text:

        '00010

You might want to try that.
