Can I use the UNC of a drive/share in SQR, or do I have to use a mapped drive letter?

In other words, is this valid:

\\servername\share\data\output\...

or do I have to do it like this:

J:\data\output\...

Yes; we use the UNC for a PeopleSoft extract process by allowing it to be specified on a run control panel. We use SQR 4.3.4
