Re: PeopleSoft - format PHONE number
is the phone number being stored in your data base with the characters or
just displayed on the panel in the PS format? In Oracle the numbers are
stored with out the characters and need no stripping out of characters.

Subject: PeopleSoft - format PHONE number
Is there a delivered SQC in HRMS or a function I can use to strip out any
special characters from a character field?
i.e.
713-380-1244
713/3801244
713 3801244
should all produce 7133801244
Thanks.... Morris
ps - this is for an outbound SQR interface.
