It has happened with me and sqr+ compiler was crashing. To find the error
message, I executed sqrp.bat file at dos level.

Also ensure that SQRPLUS_DIR environment variable is pointing to d:\sqrplus.
If your sqrp.bat file is empty, try following commands at dos prompt
(assuming that you have installed SqrPlus in d:\sqrplus folder).

   d:
   cd \sqrplus
   set sqrflags=-id:\sqrplus\sqr\
   d:\sqrplus\sqrpc.exe d:\sqrplus\sqrplus.ini d:\sqrplus\sqr\demo01.sqr

The last line is invoking SqrPlus compiler and should error out with some
error message.
