Re: Report formatting changed with 7.06 PeopleTools upgrade

You need to change the useprntr.sqc also to use HP printer. Uncomment
use-printer-type in useprntr.sqc program and include this SQC from SQR. Call a
procedure do init_printer within SQR.

Subject: Report formatting changed with 7.06 PeopleTools upgrade

Does anyone know if upgrading to PeopleTools 7.06 has caused any problems
with the format for printing SQR reports?

We upgraded from Tools 7.05.10 and are running SQR v4, Oracle 7.3, DEC Unix,
NT and Public Sector Fin 7.01.

Our PO report (run on client workstations through Process Scheduler) no
longer prints in portrait and has lost the formatting (different font types
and sizes). It went from the nicely formatted report to a text-only (courier
type) landscapce format. The SQR program hasn't changed. I changed
setenv.sqc to use HPLASERJET as default printer, but this had no effect. I
then changed the setup SQC called in the program from setup02 to setup01.
Finally, I changed the default printer type in setup01a.sqc to HPLASERJET
from LINEPRINTER.

Now my report prints with the correct layout and style, but my WRAP command
prints blank lines before each line of text in the footer. It's as if there
are line feeds embedded after each text line printed. I've removed the WRAP
and explicitly printed each of the lines to get around this as a temporary
fix.

Has anyone heard of these problems?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
