ORACLE 8.1.6 and Selects

Has anyone had a problem performing a simple Select for the latest version
of the Oracle Database? I seem to be getting an access violation. The
version of SQR: 4.3.4
Oracle driver: 8.01.61.00 dated 4/5/00.

The SQR works fine for SQL Server.
