Be careful. In my experience, using the VSS Editor to change SQR's has been
problematic.
Specifically, when changing programs with the source safe editor VSS will
sometimes cut random characters from the file and paste them to the end of the
file. For example, BEGIN-PROCEDURE will be changed to BEGIN-PROEDURE and a C
will mysteriously appear at the end of the file.
The workaround for us was simply not to use the Source Safe editor. Use VSS
works for change control, but don't plan on using its editor.

Yes, we use Visual Source Safe with Peoplesoft and SQR..it's been a life
saver, specially at this point...when there are about 4 different databases
running simultaneously(development,test,production etc). I'll be happy to
answer any questions you might have about VSS....
