Hi Juan,

 

Check your sqr.ini file enviromment SQRDIR=??.  Look for correct version under DB2.

I want to run a report in Visual Sqribe 5.0 with DB2. The client is in Mexico and AS400 is in Chicago. The environment has NOVELL 4.11.

I installed Visual Sqribe without problem. When I access Visual Sqribe and I try to connect to DB2, it does. I can see the tables and views. I can select the tables and fields, even  I can get the layout about the report. BUT When I click on preview tab, it shows a box when it says that THE REPORT RUN SUCCESSFULLY, BUT IT DOESNT FIND ROWS TO REPORT. I dont know why it does this.

 

I try to run the report that visual sqribe generates with personal sqr to DB2, but I get an error where it says that the DB2ABIND.DLL file is not found.

 

I did a data source with the db2's odbc and When I try to run the same sqr file that visual sqribe generates with personal sqr to ODBC, using the data source that I did, I get the next error:

 

 

(SQR 5528) ODB SQL dbsql: SQLPrepare error 0 in cursor 1:

[IBM] [Client Access ODBC Drier (32-Bit)] General error.

 

SQL : select VLASGN, VLASDE, VLSEQN, VLPFLD, VLVALU, VLUPOP, from

          MFGPME.MASLST

 

Error on line 42     !!!The line 42 is the paragraph end-select

    (SQR 3716) Error in SQL Statement.

 

Errors were found in the program file

SQR: Program Aborting
