SQR Viewer in a PeopleSoft Environment

After checking the archives, I can see that my question has been asked before by others but never answered (at least to the group).

When using the PeopleSoft Setup01 and Setup02 sqc's that we are not supposed to use anymore (because they use "old" SQR printer commands such as Declare Printer and Page-Size), the SQR viewer works just fine.

However, when using the sqc's that we are supposed to use (Setup31 and Setup32) all sorts of strange things start happening in the Viewer. First, there is an "overprinting" effect that renders output unreadable for all intents and purposes. In playing with the sqc however, I did find out that by removing the line-height and char-width parameters of the Declare-Layout, that problem went away. Now I am left with the problem that I cannot see the right-hand third (roughly) of landscape letter reports (or right hand half of landscape legal); a problem that, according to the archives, other users have experienced.

Does anyone have any fresh insight into this problem that apparently couldn't be answered when first posed by Ed Collier and Judith Weaver?

Thanks,
