Re: Embedding USERNAME / PASSWORD in SQR/SQT

Mr. Moscaritolo - You can use the CONNECT command within the SQR to
explicitly connect to a database of your choice as long as connectivity is
not an issue.
Users will not need to be forced to enter any database login parameters as
long as the SQR has the necessary parameters prior to any database related
functions or selects within the SQR.
For SQR3 Version, please refer to page 136.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Krishnan

Subject: Embedding USERNAME / PASSWORD in SQR/SQT
Any ideas.
I have an SQR (or SQT) which will be executed using SQRW.EXE on Win95 by
over 30
people. I do NOT want them to have to log into ORACLE and therefore have
requested an GROUP Oracle Acccount. I would like to embed USER/PW within the
SQR
(not the ICON properties).
Thanks
