RE: [sqr-users] Selecting Frech Names

The SQR is eliminating the characters? Or the Oracle SQL is?

If you select through SQL Plus (or toad or whatever DB tool) do you see the é
characters?

Subject: [sqr-users] Selecting Frech Names

Could someone please help me figure a way to select the french names from
Oracle database. Field value selected by the sql in SQR is simply eliminating
the french charecters in the name and presenting the rest in show statements
and in output flat file I am writing. For example if a name is
"Bénédicte" then it is showing as "Bndicte". If simply select directly on
Oracle database using SQLPLUS then it is fine. We are version 4.1. Any
ideas???????

Thank you,

Jay
