right justify

Some of the team leaders at my current gig
are meticulous about the look of the reports.
The lot of us a wrestling with how to do right
justification with an Arial font (both
required).

The best I have come up with so far is to print
the last letter first, in the designated column,
and then print right to left.  While this does
successfully right justify, the spacing looks
awful.

Any ideas?
