No. This is a bug in the ONE/API (which ONE/Scipt uses internally) for
Portal version 6.0. This particular bug is fixed in the brand-new
Portal version 6.0.1, so you may want to try upgrading. Note, however,
that the new version introduces some new bugs, this time related to the
handling "versions" of objects. If you are currently using the
"versioning" feature you should do testing in a separate installation
before you delete/overwrite your 6.0 setup.

I haven't tried very hard to do this (see below), but off hand I don't
believe it's possible to get PDF to be generated through ONE/Script
(If I remember correctly, you do get HTML and SPF formats automatically
using put_spf.) You could run SQRP yourself and then load the PDF file
"directly" into Portal, but then it would be treated as a separate
object than the one containing the SPF & HTML formats.

We found that it could be useful for simple one-time "configuration"
tasks, but that the lack of error handling and other problems
made it unusable for any sort of automated processing. Instead, we are
writing a ONE/API program to handle this sort of automated
loading/configuration of Portal.

[We are working on making this package (including source code)
available for download from our web, but it's not yet ready for public
consumption. However, if you hare interested in having a look at the
program in it's current "alpha" condition, please contact me directly
(not through rm-users) and I can send you what we have so far.]
